Pastor Jimmy Taylor, born November 1, 1948 in Akron, Ohio.

His spiritual journey began as a child who enjoyed attending Sunday school. During his high school and college years he strayed away from regular church attendance. At the age of 30 he and his wife Trinka together, committed their lives to Jesus Christ. Pastor Taylor has been progressively experiencing Christ’s grace ever since. Because of accepting Jesus Christ at such a relatively late stage in life (30 years old, the same as Jesus) Pastor Taylor was graciously placed on the fast track. He received his license to preach on July 1, 1982, and was ordained as a minister on January 4, 1987. He became a full-time staff pastor at The House of the Lord in July 1995. He is presently responsible for the Outreach ministries and Buildings and Grounds supervision at The House of the Lord.

Recently Pastor Taylor served as Construction Manager for the new 2200 seat Worship Center, Prayer Chapel , and Nursery. Some of his additional duties included over seeing the purchase and installation of a state of the art Digital/Video system, Installing stage lighting, etc. Pastor Taylor is responsible for overseeing a complete multimedia department, which includes non-linear editing (EDL), state of the art video projectors and other high tech equipment.
