Pastor David M. Fryson, Esq. Pastor David M. Fryson, Esq. is the Chief Ministry Officer for The House of the Lord®.

As Chief Ministry Officer Pastor Fryson has oversight over all the ministries of the church. In addition, he is President and CEO of the Beth-El Fellowship of Visionary Churches under the leadership of founder and organizer Bishop F. Josephus Johnson.

Pastor is known as a dynamic preacher and speaker, an innovative educator, experienced attorney, manager, mediator, skilled musician, and an exceptional motivator. He brings with him a wealth of ministry and community building experience. He is particularly called to assist people who have life issues that have negatively impacted their Kingdom involvement and he specializes in uplifting the downtrodden.

As a multi-talented communicator, Pastor Fryson is known for his general political expertise and understanding of African-American political and cultural history. He writes a statewide newspaper column for the Charleston Gazette and has appeared as political commentator on radio and television programs such as Talkline Radio and West Virginia Public Broadcasting. His book, Bitter or Better: The Seven Principles Why God Allows Adversity in a Believer's Life, is available nationally from Amazon.com and locally at The House of the Lord® Christian Bookstore.

Personal

Pastor has been a practicing attorney for over twenty years and was Co-Counsel in successful and historic civil rights cases and other major litigation. He also served as the Chief Legal Official for two municipalities and, before becoming an attorney, served on the Governor's Economic Development staff for two West Virginia governors. In 2001, Pastor served as National Vice-President for the legendary Rev. Dr. Leon Sullivan's OIC of America.

Pastor Fryson has been married to the lovely Joy Morris Fryson for 32 years and they have three children David, Jr., Kristina and Aaron and wife Aarin and two grandchildren Aaron, Jr. and Aidan. Pastor Fryson loves the Lord and has been called to preach the uncompromising Word of God with strength and unity.

Education
Pastor Fryson comes to The House of the Lord® from Charleston, West Virginia where he was the Senior Pastor of Restoration Community Fellowship Church. Pastor was an Elder in a legalistic denomination for many years and has expertise in assisting those who need a grace awakening. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the historic West Virginia State College (a HBCU) in 1979 and was awarded the Doctor of Jurisprudence from West Virginia University in 1988.
